Dr. Seuss on Indecisiveness, and the Church you hope to find!

Did I ever tell you about the young Zoad Who came to two sides in the fork in the road? He looked one way then the other way, too. So the Zoad had to make up his mind what to do. ... If I go to place one, that place may be hot. So how will I know if I like it or not? On the other hand though, I'll feel such a fool, If... I go to place two and find it's too cool. ...

So place one may be the best, and he started to go. And he stopped and he said, On the other hand though ... On the other hand, other hand, other hand though ... Play safe, cried the Zoad, I'm no dunce. I'll simply start off to both places at once. And that's how the Zoad who would not take a chance Got no place at all with the split in his pants!

Far to many people are like the Zoad when it comes to selecting a Church, that kind of indecisiveness can have eternal consequences!

The book of Colossians was written by the Apostle Paul to a Church he had never personally visited. Word however had reached him, of the kind of people who comprised the Church. When you read his description, you realize that when the Lord leads you to a Church like that....join it!

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God's will, and Timothy our brother: To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ in Colossi. Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints because of the hope reserved for you in heaven.

You have already heard about [this hope] in the message of truth, the gospel that has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has among you since the day you heard it and recognized God's grace in the truth. You learned this from Epaphras, our much loved fellow slave. He is a faithful minister of the Messiah on your behalf.
(Colossians 1:1-7).

The Church you hope to find, is a Church where there is...
